DSCI is seeking an experienced Software Developer for our VIATECH group at Fort Monmouth. This position requires experience in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software and provide enhancements to existing software. Candidate must be able to work with technical staff to understand and to resolve software-related problems; respond to, trouble-shoot and resolve customer problems and issues with software; develop web services and applications based in a Microsoft environment, as well as browser-based applications.
This position requires the successful candidate to work as part of team of programmers responsible for C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET and JavaScript development; work with Business Analysts to define and document user-requirements; work with Quality Assurance to define and document test plans, and provide technical assistance during the testing process.
. REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Visual Studio 2008
- ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, AJAX, Web Services, JavaScript
- Graphical User-Interface design and development experience
- Database experience: MS SQL-Server 2000 and 2005, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Queries
- SharePoint Web Services
- Experience with Team Foundation Server and Visual SourceSafe version control Software.
- Experience with SQL Reporting Services and Crystal Reports
- Perform full life-cycle software development
Must be US Citizen with a SECRET Security Clearance
