VIATECH Inc, A DSCI Company is seeking an Experienced System/Network Analyst for our group in KOREA.
The Network/Server Analyst will provide assistance in the areas of network and server support, security, and development. The candidate shall have experience with various NAS, and SAN based storage systems to include but not be limited to EMC, NetApp, HP and a variety of Fibre Channel and iSCSI network appliances. Experience with documentation (to include Visio diagrams) and communication skills absolutely essential.
Familiarity with VMWare ESX server (Version 3.5) to include installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade capabilities a major plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor`s Degree, 10 years of related experience, US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance are required. TRAVEL REQUIRED.
Description of Responsibilities: As a System/Network Analyst, your key responsibilities involve the technical foundation and structural support required to deliver and operate business solutions in an Enterprise environment. Implement, integrate, and support Army customer infrastructure with technical applications and related vendor software/hardware.
Perform research on infrastructure technologies and tools; design and implement infrastructure architecture; implement and upgrade products. Configure, install, monitor and analyze Microsoft Windows Server and VMware ESX systems and network devices for potential problems. Provision new server VMware and Microsoft servers as needed.
Assist in server related maintenance such as patching, rebooting, security vulnerability awareness and testing. Work closely with the other members of the staff to troubleshoot network and server issues.
Assist in network related maintenance such as configuring switches and installing equipment. Maintain up to date documentation on server and network inventory. Perform related duties as assigned.
