DSCI is recruiting an experienced RADAR SYSTEM ENGINEER to support our Army customer in Aberdeen, MD and Eatontown, NJ locations. The successful candidate will serve as the Technical team lead, interface with the customer, provide field test support and technical recommendations, and analyze solutions. Programmatic and technical support will be provided for programs during all phases of the acquisition life cycle to include basic research, technology demonstrations, proof of principle, engineering development and production.
Must be proficient in radar technologies and techniques, and be familiar with Army radar systems such as the AN/TPQ-36 and 37 Firefinder weapon locating radars and the EQ-36 Enhanced Firefinder, Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar (LCMR), Lightweight Surveillance Target Acquisition Radar (LSTAR), and Multi-Mission Radar (MMR). The successful candidate should also have experience w/ the Army acquisition process and possess good communications, presentation, and writing skills.
Spectrum management is a definite plus, with familiarity regarding the process of applying for spectrum allocation within the Army. Experience with filing the proper documentation, providing supporting analysis, and working with the ASMO, FAA, and FCC to negotiate the available spectrum is highly desirable.
REQUIRED: B.S. or M.S. (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, 8 years or more related experience. Must be a US citizen with at least a SECRET clearance. TS/SCI a plus.
Travel is required.
