DSCI is recruiting for a WEB DEVELOPER for our NJ or MD offices. A Bachelors degree in computer science or related area and three years direct experience are required. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are also required.
The Web Developer will:
- Coordinate technical data administration for data warehouse development and maintenance.
- Plan and oversee the technical transitions between development, testing, and production phases of the workplace
- Facilitate change control, problem management, and communication among data architects, programmers, analysts and engineers
- Establish and enforce processes to ensure a consistent, well-managed and well-integrated data warehouse infrastructure
- Expand and improve data warehouse to include data from all functions of the organization using data manipulation, transformation and cleansing tools
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code (such as PL/SQL, HTML, CGI, and JavaScript) for a component of the website
- Work with graphic designers and other members of a project team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website
- Conduct interface implementation
- Integrate web applications with backend databases
- Deploy large web-based transaction systems using application servers
- Research, test, build, and coordinate the integration of new products per production and client requirements
- Possess strong navigation and site-design instincts.
