DSCI is seeking a PROGRAM ANALYST for our Maryland and New Jersey offices. This position requires at a minimum: a Bachelors degree in computer science or related area and three years direct experience. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required.
Requirements:
- Formulate and define specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs.
- Responsible for applications dealing with the overall OS, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.
- Competent to work at this highest technical level on all phases of software systems programming applications.
- Evaluate new and existing software products.
- Assist other systems programmers to effectively utilize the system's technical software.
- Specific to the GRD IRMS solution: monitor OP3 processes for performance related issues and implement solutions to improve the performance, logs technical assistance requests, bug and error checking, research product updates and applies patches and upgrades as needed, ensuring compatibility/certification with latest Oracle Projects releases.
- Support IRMS Users and resolve day-to-day issues.
- Identify and alter the existing Ebiz setups and interfaces to accommodate changes to the data set transfer from Maximo to Oracle Ebiz.
- Ensure interfaces are up and running without any errors (CEFMS Invoices -> Oracle AP, CEFMS Obligations -> Oracle and Maximo -> Oracle Projects and OP3).
