DSCI is seeking an experienced Application Tester for our Eatontown, NJ Offices. The successful candidate will have a background and deep understanding of software development life cycle.
The Application Tester will:
- Write test cases and test plans for the project
- Execute test cases
- Investigate potential defects and discuss them with developers
- Log defects during the test execution phase
- Report test results to the project manager
- Participate in business requirements review sessions with the peers and business users
- Test application in functional and system integration testing
- Prioritize test requirements and organize test cases accordingly
- Other responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a four-year degree in computer science, mathematics, or information systems.
- Background/understanding of software development life cycle.
- Must be experienced in using various computer languages including PHP and MySQL
- US Citizenship
- The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
