DSCI is seeking a Network Technician for our Ft. Rucker, AL group. The successful candidate will install, troubleshoot, manage and maintain C4 systems.
The primary duty of the Network Technician will be Army Battle Command System network management and administration. Additional responsibilities:
- Interface C4 systems/servers with constructive and virtual simulations and gaming systems in support of training.
- Identify equipment and cost requirements for the execution of C4, virtual system and simulation support.
- Interface with customers, managers, and instructors to provide appropriate information for planning.
- Track and document defficiencies, maintenance, customer requests and network changes and plans.
- Manage property accountability and life-cycle replacement.
- Some travel may be required for off-site exercises.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements Include:
- US Citizenship
- High School Diploma
- 5 years of experience
- Security Clearance required
- A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications required
- Must be able to install and manage C4 Software, ESX and various Vmware products for C4 and enterprise services management
- Network, Software and computer hardware set-up and troubleshooting is required.
- VCP, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE strongly desired.
